- The Planetary Logos is described as a vast spiritual Being, far beyond human comprehension, who ensouls an entire planet (planetary scheme).
- Just as the human soul incarnates through a physical body, so the Planetary Logos expresses itself through the "body" of a planet.

- Each Planetary Logos is one of several such Beings within our solar system.
- Together, they are the "Seven Spirits before the Throne," which are the seven Rays manifested through seven sacred planets.
- Our Solar Logos (the life of the entire solar system) ensouls them, just as a human monad ensouls the soul and personality.

- The Planetary Logos of Earth is sometimes called the "One in Whom we live and move and have our being."
- He is undergoing a process of initiation and evolution, just as humanity does—though on a scale vastly greater.
- The struggles, crises, and unfoldment of humanity are part of the body-life and consciousness of the Planetary Logos Himself.

- Humanity is a "center" within the body of the Planetary Logos, analogous to a chakra in the human being.
- The evolution of human consciousness is an expression of the unfolding purpose of the Planetary Logos.
